LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
FURTHER NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. The nominations of Messrs W. I. Armstrong (Wainuioru riding) and P. R. Welch (Opaki riding), both sitting members, have been received for the Masterton County Council. Mr Armstrong has also been nominated as a county representative on the Wairarapa Hospital Board of which he is a sitting member. No further nominations have been received for the Masterton Borough Council or the Mauriceville County Council.
