FOUND ON FORESHORE

BODY OF ELDERLY MAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. At 1 p.m. yesterday an elderly man was found dead on the Petone foreshore. He was David Alfred Murray, pensioner, aged 73, of 23 Armadale Street, Petone. Mr Murray, a single man,, lived with his brother, Mr H. J. Murray, who last saw him about the house between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The late Mr Murray did not say he was going out, but he often went for walks along the Petone foreshore and out on the Petone wharf. He was not identified till last evening, when Mi- H. J. Murray went to the Police Station to report him missing.
