“STAND UP AND FIGHT.” i “Stand up and Fight,” the brilliant I comedy-drama concludes its season to- ■ night at the Cosy Theatre. “GIVE US WINGS.” ■| First motion picture to deal with the topical subject of aerial crop-dusting, Universal’s “Give us Wings” will offer something different in the way of screen entertainment at the Cosy i Theatre, starting on Friday. With a i cast headed by the famed Dead End I Kids and the Little Tough Guys, the 1 film, a comedy drama, follows the adI ventures, of a group of would-be young fliers whose eagerness to take to the air before becoming licensed pilots leads them to the hazardous cropdusting profession. Thrilling aerial scenes, including several spectacular crashes, interesting close-ups of crops being dusted from the air, and the inimitable comic antics of its youthful stars are reported to be highlights of the new production. Billy Halop, Huntz Hall, Gabriel Dell, Bern'ard Punsly and Bobby Jordan are featured lin the film. Other important roles are enacted by Wallace Ford, Victor Jory, I Anne Gwynnc and Shemp Howard. The associate feature, “Devil on Horseback,” is a thrilling Mexican romance with music and in all-colour, featuring Lili Damita, Del Campo and Fred Keating.
