PURSUANT io Section 7 of “The Local Election and Polls Act, 1925,” and “The Counties Act, 1920,” and amendments thereof, I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an Election will be held on SATURDAY,, the 17th day of May, 1941, for the purpose of electing Seven Councillors to the Council of the County of Castlepoint, as follows: — North Riding.—One Representative. South Riding—Two Representatives, East Riding.—Two Representatives. West Riding.—Two Representatives. AND I HEREBY APPOINT the County Office, Tinui, as the place, and TUESDAY, the 6th day of May, 1941 (before 5 p.m.), as the day for the Nomination of Candidates for such office. MOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Castlepoint County Council has determined that, owing to weather conditions, the roads mentioned in the schedule hereto, while fit for heavy traffic up to the weights set opposite thereto in the said schedule, shall be unfit for heavy ti affic exceeding the weight so determined for the period commencing the first day of May, 1941, and ending the thirtieth day of September, 1941, AND the Council hereby ORDERS that heavy traffic in excess of the said weights shall cease on the said roads during the period aforesaid. NTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that tho Mauriceville County Council has resolved that the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto, while fit for heavy traffic up to the weight set opposite thereto, shall, be unfit for heavy traffic exceeding such weight for a period from May 1 to September 30, 1941, AND THE COUNCIL HEREBY ORDERS that Heavy Traffic in excess of the said weights shall' cease upon the said Roads during the period aforesaid, and the Council further directs that the said order shall be notified as required by Clause 14 of the Wairarapa Counties’ Joint By-Laws Amendment Act, 1931.
