“TOO MANY HUSBANDS.” The final screening of “Too Many Husbands,” a delightful comedy featuring Jean Arthur and Melvyn Douglas, takes place this evening at the Regent Theatre. “HULLABALOO.” The greatest list of newcomers to make their bow in a Hollywood production in months were brought together to appear in “Hullabaloo,” coming to the Regent Theatre on Saturday. From radio the producer chose the already popular Kay St. Germaine. Virginia O’Brien hails from “Meet the People,'” a sensational stage show, and third on the list is Charles Holland, Negro tenor, who took the musical world by storm when he appeared on a Red Cross benefit show. In addition to these three are two youngsters whose screen appearances have been brief, and who are given new opportunities in this production. One. is Leni Lynn, the little schoolgirl from Passaic, New Jersey, whose schoolmates donated their pennies to send her to Hollywood. Miss Lynn gets her first chance to sing in this film. The other youngster is Larry Nunn, formerly of radio, who was introduced to screen audiences for the first time in “Strike Up the Band.” The cast of “Hullabaloo,” in addition to these, includes a long list of screen and radio favourites. The whole film is one of sparkling entertainment delights and comes in as a boon in these times when relief from stress is so valuable. The supporting featurettes are exceptionally good and include the latest Air Mail News, an absorbing “March of Time” issue, “On Foreign Newsfronts,” a community sing and an excellent scenic.
