In Spite of Capitulation of Army in Epirus IMPERIAL AND GREEK FORCES UNBROKEN ON NEW LINE GOVERNMENT WITHDRAWN TO CRETE ‘ LONDON, April 23. Although the Greek army in Epirus has capitulated and the Greek Government has withdrawn to Crete, the Imperial troops and the remainder of the Greek Army are consolidating’ the new shortened line of defence, which remains unbroken. A full-scale German attack is expected at any moment. The main Greek army on the left flank of the British forces is holding film.
