The Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, Prime Minister, returned to Wellington from Rotorua by the Limited express this morning.

Mr. R. P. Fish, assistant-engineer to the Invercargill City Council, has been appointed from 34 applicants to be engineer to the Hastings Borough Council. Mr Fish will take the place of Mr C. E. Evans, who is to retire. Messrs W. R. Nicol and J. D. O'Connor were yesterday reappointed the Wellington Education Board’s representatives on the Wairarapa College Board of Governors.
