IMPORTANT POSITIONS TAKEN. COVERING APPROACHES TO TOWN. (British' Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, April. 22. A Cairo communique states: — “Our patrols again, have been active in Libya. “In Abyssinia, as a result of an action, in which the enemy ■ sustained serious casualties, our southern column yesterday occupied important positions covering the approach to Dessie. The forward move of our northern column again has been hampered by extensive road demolitions. In southern , areas, operations are proceeding satisfactorily, and a further 17 officers and 549 of other ranks have been captured.”
