Pither gave a luncheon party at the Midland Hotel for executive members of the Order of St. John Nursing Division to meet Sister Collins, Commandant of the Wellington District of V.A.D.'s Those present were Miss Whitehouse, Superintendent, Mesdames D. McKenzie, H. Thompson, Miss M. Barnet, matron of Masterton Hospital, and Mrs A. F. Stewart, Assistant Commandant.
