UNCERTAINTY ABOUT VISIT TO BERLIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 19. A message from Istanbul says that the German Ambassador to. Turkey, Herr von Papcn, departed today for Berlin by aeroplane. The German-controlled radio earlier reported that Herr von Papen arrived at Istanbul yesterday on his way to Berlin, but changed his plans and returned to Ankara.
German circles had said that his visit to Berlin might last some weeks.
