REPLY TO MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY. MEMORIES OF NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. ' Lady Baden-Powell has replied to a message of. sympathy sent by the Wellington South African War Veterans’ Association at the time of her husband’s death. Her letter was written in Kenya two months ago and includes a personal message to South African War veterans in New Zealand.

Lady Baden-Powell says she will never forget, the kind welcome given them when they visited New Zealand and that she appreciates most fully the friendly message of sympathy.
