THREE-PRONGED ATTACK
PUSHED WITH FEROCITY. IN SPITE OF SEVERE LOSSES. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, April 17. “Heavy forces of Stukas and tanks, in successive waves, have attacked the Allied positions in Northern Greece in a critical battle,” says the Athens correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain. “The Germans, despite the heavy AlliecJ fire, which is inflicting severe losses, have continued their three-pronged attack with undiminished ferocity.”
