NAZIS ASSAIL NORTHERN PASSES GREEK AND BRITISH REPORTS. SEVERAL ATTACKS REPULSED (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 16. The Government spokesman in Athens said this morning German armoured columns have reached the western outlet of the Siatista Pass, approximately 50 miles south of the northern Greek frontier, and occupied the Vlacho Klisura Pass in northern Grece.

A communique from the British headquarters in the Middle East yesterday stated: “In Greece on our right sector several attacks by enemy mechanised troops were repulsed. Other areas were quiet.”
