WEDDING
COLLINGS—HOUNSE L L. i The marriage took place recently at St. James Church, Lower Hutt, of Peggy, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. R. Hounsell, Lower Hutt, and Leslie Ellis, elder son of Mrs and the late Mr E. Collinge. of Masterton. The Rev. H. E. K. Fry officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a pale magnolia satin gown with a lace yoke and Peter Pau collar together with a tulle embroidered veil and a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of white chrysanthemums, gladioli and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended /by Miss Gladys Collinge, of Masterton, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a gold georgette frock with a heart-shaped neckline. long sleeves and a short veil with a floral top-knot. Her bouquet was of autumn tinted chrysanthemums. Mr L. C. Eydder, of Wellington, attended the bridegroom as best man. A reception was later held at the residence of the bride's parents at Lower Hutt, Mrs Hounsell wore a black costume, and Mrs Collinge, the bridegroom's mother, a black ensemble. Mr and Mrs Collinge loft later by car for the north, the bride wearing an Indian penny ensemble with black accessories. Their future home will bo at Lower Hutt.
