RACE WON BY BANK CLERK. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE, April 14. The Stawcll Easter Gift, a foot race over 130 yards for a purse of £5OO, for which there were 114 acceptors from all parts of Australia, was won today by a Tasmanian bank clerk, Ken Hutton, off 6.' yards. J. ,1. Hawkins <64 yards) was second, and C. Aamodt (6;, ! yards) was third. Hutton won by a foot with inches separating second and third. The time was 12 6-16.
