DANISH MINISTER'S STAND. RECALL BY GOVERNMENT DISREGARDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 11.0 am ) WASHINGTON. April 14. The Danish Minister (Mr Kauffman) has advised Mr Cordell Hull (Secretary of State; of his refusal to recognise recall orders from the Copenhagen Government for granting Greenland military defence sites to the United States.

Although it was understood that the Danish Government had declared the agreement invalid, Mr Kauffman said, he had not been so advised. It is clear that the American Government will uphold Mr Kauffman, who acted with the concurrence of the Governors of Greenland.
