AUCKLAND
KINDERGARTEN WINS.
A MARVELLOUS PERFORMANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 13. The outstanding feature of the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday was the marvellous performance of the three-year-old Kindergarten, in winning the Easter Handicap. At the six furlongs he was last but two with Brazen Bold, Bronwen. Black Thread, Sulieman and Monte Cristo at the head of the field. Kindergarten improved his position at the turn but did not get a good passage in the straight where Brazen Bold, who had tried to win all the way. was being acclaimed the winner.
