OBITUARY

MR JOHN BUTLER. WELLINGTON. This Day. Obituary, Mr John Butler. Mr Butler had been printer of the “Evening Post” for the past five years and a member of tile staff for over 30 years. Born in Hawera, he served his apprenticeship on the “Hawera Star.”

For many years, until his death, he was a prominent member of the Odd Fellows’ Lodge, Hawera. He will be buried at Lawrence, where his widow’s family live.
