AMBULANCES FOR LONDON
GIFT FROM .N.Z. FEDERATION OF LABOUR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The gift of £9OO from the New Zealand Federation of Labour to the British Trades Union Congress, mentioned in a cable message, was for providing three ambulances for service in the bombed areas of London, according to a statement made in Labour Party circles in Wellington, and' is a token of the appreciation of the workers in New Zealand of the indomitable spirit shown by Londoners in the face of German attacks.
