Steady Stream of Reinforcements ARRIVING IN THE WESTERN DESERT LOSSES IN PRISONERS INCLUDE THREE GENERALS Many successful attacks by the K.A.F. on enemy forces in Libya are reported in a B.B.C.’broadcast, which states also that the British land forces are concentrating- in an area suitable for defensive operations and that British troops are arriving daily in steadily increasing numbers in the Western Desert. Six Heinkels and two other machines were destroyed by fighters and a Junkers 52 was also shot down. Enemy motor transport west of'Tobruk was machine-gunned and a number • of vehicles were destroyed.
In Abyssinia the R.A.F. continues to attack the enemy. The South African Air Force attacked five enemy aircraft on the ground, destroyed four and badly damaged the fifth.
