COSY THEATRE

“SEVEN SINNERS." Marlene Dietrich returns to the screen in the new Universal film, “Seven Sinners,” starting tonight at the Cosy Theatre. John Wayne, one of the outstanding young leading men in motion pictures, plays opposite Miss Dietrich in this romance of the South Seas, and together they head an imposing cast that includes Albert Dekker, Broderick Crawford, Mischa Auer, Billy Gilbert, Anna Lee, Samuel S. Hinds and Oscar Homolka. Miss Dietrich, in her role of a beautiful cafe singer, introduces three new songs written for her by Frederick Hollander and Frank Loesser, who composed the tunes she sang in “Destry Rides Again.” Charles Previn is the general music director.

The associate feature is the thrillpacked western romance, “Man From Sundown,” featuring the screen’s newest sensation, Charles Sturrett and a grand cast. There will be no pictures on Good Friday.
