TWO SHIPS TORPEDOED BY BRITISH SUBMARINE
t An Admiralty communique states that a British submarine operating in the Central Mediterranean carried out a successful attack on a south-bound convoy of heavily laden transports and supply ships. A ship of 12,000 tons was hit by two torpedoes and another ship of 6,000 tons was also torpedoed.
