More than 50 officers and 400 petty officers and men are held as prisoners of war and a number of prisoners have also been captured from Italian submarines. Among the prisoners is one of the most notable U-boat commanders in the German Navy. LOST SHIPS TOTAL FOR LAST WEEK IN MARCH. Fob the last week of March, the 82nd of the war, 77,000 tons of shipping were lost, the 8.8. C. states.
