Prince Konoye, in a speech in Tokio today, said: “Japan means to strengthen her co-operation with friendly Powers with a view to contributing to the restoration of peace throughout the rest of the world. Her policy is based on the Three Power Pact with Germany and Italy." TALK WITH MOLOTOV MATSUOKA IN MOSCOW. MESSAGES TO GERMANY & ITALY. MOSCOW. April 7. The Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr Matsuoka. conferred with the Foreign Commissar, M. Molotov, for four hours. Mr Matsuoka sent a message to the Germans and Italians as follows: “My visit has served to strengthen my belief in the- victory of the Axis and the successful establishment of the new order. , Mr Matsuoka also sent a message to Herr von Ribbentrop, saying: "I heard your broadcast on the YugoslavGreek situation. Heil, success and good luck.”
