April 4. jj The Christchurch market has re- I mained comparatively lifeless through | the week, chief interest being in the decision to fix prices for oats, on which 11 no further advice has been received. I The demand for small seeds has eas- i ed further, with prices unchanged. ; Only small quantities of red clover, of ' which the quality has been good, have ■ so far been offered. Sales of blue lupins have been made at slightly increased prices. 3s 6d to 4s. > Potatoes, of which the Canterbury 1 yield will be less than usual, are still | being sold at £7 a ton. with odd sales t at £7 10s.
