MATCH AT MASTERTON WAIRARAPA v. HUTT VALLEY. GOOD SCORE BY LOCAL TEAM. Play in the intercollegiate cricket match between the Wairarapa College and the Hutt Valley High School first elevens which commenced yesterday afternoon at the College Grounds was continued today. Wairarapa College batted first and compiled 253. 'The principal scorers were Hoar 65, Taylor 65, Stevens 35, Wilson 32 and Schofield 25. Attractive innings were played by all these boys. The wicket was soft and the outfield was slow.
Hutt Valley went in and had not registered any runs for the loss of two wickets at the conclusion of play yesterday- afternoon. j When play was resumed this morny ing College dismissed Hutt Valley for - 80.
