FROST CASUALTIES
NUMEROUS IN ITALIAN RANKS GREEK FORCES ACTIVE IM ALBANIA. OFFENSIVE PATROLS KEPT GOING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY. March 31. While Greek offensive patrols continue to work with success on the Albanian front Italian offensive action seems once more to have ceased. Athens messages state that there have been no enemy patrols out since Thursday night. The cold weather has been affecting the Italians and prisoners speak of as many as 30.000 "frost" casualties monthly.
OFFICIAL REPORT PRISONERS & ARMS TAKEN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY. March 31. A Greek' Sunday communique states: “Patrol and artillery activity has been crowned with success. We captured several prisoners and automatic arms. Our aircraft bombed and ma-1 chine-gunned, with success, objectives in the battle zone."
