4, SHOWN TO UNAUTHORISED PERSON. FORMER CLERK SENTENCED IN MELBOURNE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE, March 28. Missing defence files formed the basis of a charge against George Samuel McHutchinson. aged 43, a former clerk at the Victoria Military Barracks, who, at the City Court yesteiday, was sentenced to three months imprisonment. Most of the evidence concerned McHutchinson's association with "Mr X,” an unauthorised person to whom he had produced secret defence documents. the nature of which was not revealed, to persons other than the magistrate and counsel. McHutchinsoi). who was described as a dangerous man is an ex-Service man.
