NO DANGER OF SERIOUS CRISIS ACCORDING TO MR. KUNG. JAPANESE REPORTS DENIED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ! (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) CHUNGKING. March 21. Mr. H. H. Kung, in an interview, expressed the opinion that the deadlock between Chungking and the Communists would soon be solved without an open conflict. He said the Communists, due to unfounded fear, recently began expanding Communist territory with their armies, in order to consolidate their power. They had even disobeyed military orders. He said hl; did not believe a crisis would arise because the Communists' leaders were wise men, sincerely determined to fight the Japanese. He categorically denied Japanese reports that j Chungking was organising a large anti-Communist army for attacking the Communists.
