WHEN BOILING RICE

A USEFUL HINT. When you are boiling rice, always use a large saucepan about three-quar-ters full of boiling water with a pinch cf salt and put in your rice and boil twelve minutes. This prevents the grains clinging together and sticking to your saucepan. The addition of a squeeze of lemon juice will help too. and this also keeps your rice a nice white colour. Brown rice takes just a little longer to cook.
