TOWN MILK
TEST FOR KEEPING QUALITIES BEING INTRODUCED. Tests are to be carried out in Masterton to ascertain the keeping qualities of the borough milk supply. Hitherto, such tests have never been undertaken locally. As far as butterfats and solids are concerned, it is stated, Masterton milk is excellent. It is not legal to sell milk, however, that will not stand up to the test for keeping qualities. The introduction of this new test will ensure that Masterton’s milk will be up to standard in every respect.
