At the final day of the Ohinemuri meeting at Paeroa yesterday the principal race, the Shaw Handicap, was won by an outsider in Tellsotne by a length from Joan Peel. The Hauraki Plains Steeplechase went to the favourite Hanover, who won by 'fifteen lengths.
