REAR-ADMIRAL LYSTER
NEW CHIEF OF NAVAL AIR OPERATIONS. SIR GUY ROYLE GOING TO AUSTRALIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.27 a.m.) RUGBY. March IG. The appointment of Rear-Admiral Lyster as a Lord Commissioner of the Admiralty and Chief of Naval Air Services is announced. Admiral Lyster succeeds Vice-Admiral Sir Guy Royle. who has been lent to the Australian Government for duty as First Naval Member of the Commonwealth Naval Board. His appointment dates from May 15 next, and that of Admiral Lyster, April 14.
