GREYTOWN
QUEEN CARNIVAL A BUSY DAY. ("Times-Age” Special.) The supporters of the Maori Queen had a busy day yesterday. The stalls at the Crown Theatre were well laden and sold out early in the evening. The dance in the Odd Fellows' Hall was well attended. In the early evening a party of Maori supporters in costume paraded the Main Street, giving Maori hakas and songs. The Dark Town Fire Brigade were also in evidence. Personal Items. Dr. Oakey left Greytown yesterday to take up military duties till the end of March. Mrs F. Pound, of Wellington, is a visitor to Greytown.
