Mr. Mitchell Hepburn, in his Ontario budget speech today disclosed a record surplus of nearly 13,000,000 dollars. Mr. Hepburn pledged the Government’s determination to live within its income, as part of Ontario’s national war effort. The corporation tax yielded 23,000.000 dollars compared with the 15,000,000 dollars estimated.
