NAZI COURT-MARTIAL

TRIAL OF LOFOTEN ISLANDERS FOLLOWING ON NAVAL RAID. BOMBAST BY QUISLING. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) STOCKHOLM, March 13. As a further sequel to the naval raid the Germans have decided to courtmartial about 70 inhabitants of the Lofoten Islarids for maintaining relations with the Norwegians in London and assisting the British. The Norwegian Press states that they will be punished according to the iron law of war. Major Quisling in a speech at Oslo said: “We are obliged to use force. We intend to change the Norwegians’ mentality and make Norway a strong Norwegian nation and a Germanic outpost of the Greater Germanic Union. Haakon shall pay for the Lofoten kidnapping. He is our enemy No. 1.”
