The teams from the Hutt taking part in the demonstration are: Griffins, Petone Woollen Mills. Colgate Palmolive, and the Y.M.C.A.
The programme on Saturday is a rather lengthy one and the Interhouse Association can be relied upon to carry out its policy as it has in the past of no waiting between events. On entering the park they will be met by the Masterton Municipal Band and the Masterton interhouse girls' teams and the parade around the oval should be a sight well worth seeing. During the afternoon the territorials will be competing for a cup donated by the Returned Soldiers' Association. In 1939 for annual competition. There will be selections by the Trentham Military Band. College Pipe Band and the Masterton Municipal Band, and spectacular marching by the interhouse girls' teams.
Private Roland, violinist, who will appear with the Trentham Band at their concert here received his training at Vienna University and toured New Zealand as a lad with the Roland Family. Judging by the large number of entries received for the "Search for Talent" for the "Star of Tomorrow,” which will be held in the Municipal Hall tonight, commencing at 7.30 o’clock, the quest will be an overwhelming success and the public is assured of a night of unusual entertainment.
