CONFERENCE AT BLENHEIM. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. The following officers were elected at the annual conference of the United Fire Brigades’ Association:—President, Mr H. L. Warner (Hawera); vice-pre-sidents, Messrs W. H. Stokes (New Brighton), R. Henderson (Hastings); treasurer, Mr C. A. Osborne (Onchunga). The conference in 1941 was to Westport. ' The question of whether demonstrations should be held during the wai period was left to the executive.
