AND THAT the Featherston County ’ Council, pursuant to the provisions bf ’ the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and the Rural Housing Act 1939, and its amendments, DOTH HEREBY RESOLVE by way of Special Order, as follows: — 1. THAT the Council Raise from the State Advances Corporation of New . Zealand a loan of £lO,OOO (ten thousand pounds) or so much thereof as may be required for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act, 1939, and its amendments such loan to be called the Rural Housing Loan ’ No. 1, 1940, £lO,OOO. ’ 2. THAT the Council repay half1 yearly in reduction of the loan an amount equal to the sum of all amounts , which are expressed to be payable to 1 the Council during the half-year ending on each half-yearly date by the .
