Mr and Mrs H. Blundell, Martinborough, are visiting Christchurch. Mrs E. P. Cameron, Pahaua, Hinakura, is spending the weekend in Masterton. Mrs Alex Cooper. Victoria Street, Masterton, left today for Eastbourne, where she w’ll stay for a few weeks. Mr and Mrs C. C. Horsbrugh, Whareama, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Rudman. Auckland, is the guest of Mrs E. Horne, Cole Street, Masterton. Mrs W. Roberts, who has been staying with Miss Cameron, Cole Street. Masterton, has returned to Whakatane. The death has occurred in Dannevirke of Mrs Lucy Freeman, a pioneer of the Ashhurst and Dannevirke districts, at the age of 94. Mrs Freeman was born in Shoreham, Kent, and came to New Zealand with her husband, settling in Ashhurst.’ After a few years she went to Dannevirke, where she remained till her death.
