An announcement that, the total sum sent to London in connection with last year's campaign to raise funds for financing aeroplanes in Britain amounted to £156.776 was made last evening by the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash. “This sum has been made up of several parts which have been sent as the money came forward." said the Minister. "For example, by the third week in October £100,006 New Zealand currency had been remitted to England; by the third week in December another £45,615 had been sent: and finally today the balance of £11.160 has been forwarded.
