LOSS OF NATIONALITY

ORDERS RESPECTING BRITISH WOMEN. EXEMPTION FROM WARTIME RESTRICTIONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) RUGBY, March 7. Mr Herbert Morrison has made an order exempting women, who have lost British nationality by marriage to aliens; from most of the wartime restrictions to which they were subjected —restrictions imposed by orders made in 1940 and 1941. They also are relieved of their obligation to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Labour before taking employment. On the other hand such of these women as are not at present registered with the police are required by an order to do so.
