BUILDING SOCIETY
WORKERS' MUTUAL BENEFIT. A meeting of shareholders of the No. 2 Workers’ Butual Benefit Building Society was held last evening for the purpose of allocating moneys by ballot and by sale. Mr R. Krahagen. chairman. presided over a small attendance of shareholders. The successful shareholder at the ballot was Mr R. D. McEwen. Masterton. who. being the holder of two shares was declared entitled to a loan of £4OO free of interest. A tender of £6O was accepted for the sale of £4OO in the No. 2 Society A tender of £250 was accepted for the £BOO offered f or sale by tender in the "B" Group. The total disposed of during the evening was £l6OO.
