FOOD BLOCKADE

NO CHANGE TN BRITAIN'S POLICY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. March 4. Replying to a Parliamentary question. the Minister of Economic Welfare, Dr. Dalton, stated that there had been no change in the policy of the Government in regard to allowing ships from the United States to pass the blockade, carrying food for enemy-occupied countries in Europe. This question, Dr. Dalton added, like other questions of common interest, had been discussed by' the Ambassador in Washington with the United States authorities from time to time. The Minister stated that Germany' several times announced ability' to supply all necessary foodstull's to the population of countries occupied by her troops.
