AUSTRALIAN FRUIT
DISTRIBUTION TO HOSPITALS IN N.S.W. STATEMENT BY PREMIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, February 28. The Premier. Mr. Mair, announced that the New South Wales State Government will buy from orchardists. apples and pears that otherwise would be \vasted and distribute them to hospitals, orphanages, nurseries and similar institutions. Mr. Mair said the Apple and Pear Board would make fruit, available at a price "in keeping with the circumstances.”
