WELLINGTON’S EFFORT
QUEEN CARNIVAL PROCESSION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Wellington’s Queen carnival procession was repeated today in glorious weather. There was a great turnout in the streets and money still seemed to be forthcoming freely for activities of all kinds. The fine show has obviously stirred great enthusiasm for the object in view and is giving the carnival a highly auspicious opening.
