BAD WEATHER
STILL RESTRICTING FIGHTING. MORE PRISONERS TAKEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, February 28. Though bad weather is still restricting warfare in Albania to local operations, the latest Greek communique says that more prisoners have been taken and that the Italians have suffered further heavy losses. Greek artillery is also pounding enemy positions with marked success. The news of the occupation by British forces of the island of Castellorizzo has been hailed with enthusiasm throughout Greece. One newspaper says that the Greek inhabitants of this island are the first of the Dodecanese islanders to see the sunlight of dom.The Athens radio, on the authority of the Press Ministry, stated in a review of recent operations:— “The Italians have shown no initiative whatever either on land or in the air. Planes have kept well out of sight everywhere. It was added that on Wednesday an Italian camp, on the Tepelene-Kelcyra road was heavily bombed by British aircraft.
