“HOME FROM HOME." The change of programme tonight will be headed by “Home from Home,” featuring Sandy Powell and Rene Ray in a brilliant comedy that has been a box office attraction wherever shown. Sandy Powell takes the role of a convict who is glad enough to remain in prison out of the way of his domineering wife, who continually nags him to find work, and not lie in bed half the clay. Whep Sandy is pardoned and has to go home the trouble starts all over again, especially as he has collected an out-of-work violinist and a glamorous cabaret star on the way. Both of his new found friends meet with the strong disapproval of Sandy’s wife, and Sandy resolves to get back into prison, come what may. How he tries to do it, and how circumstances always forestall him form the highlight of this grand comedy, during which Sandy and the “Harmonica Rascals” find time and place to sing some catchy song hits. The associate feature is "The Yodelling Kid From Pine Ridge,” starring Gene Autry in an excellent Western musical thriller.
