Club, Wellington, the following goods being forwarded: Five joints mutton. 1 ham. 2 pieces corned beef. 1 meat shape. 181 b. butter. 12 large cakes, 2 boxes small cakes. 1 tin biscuits. 1 box scones, I’. bags sugar. 251 b. flour. 21b. coffee. 71b lea. 16 dozen eggs. 171 b. honey, 111 b. cheese. 1 tin pepper. 1 tin mustard. 1 tin cocoa. 6 tins tongues. 6 tins salmon. 1 jar salad dressing. 51b. cracker biscuits. 2 bags potatoes. 1 case tomatoes. 29 cucumbers. 4 pumpkins, 5 marrows. 1 jar beetroot (cooked >. carrots, onions, parsley, lettuce, beetroot, rhubarb, parsnips. 35 jars jam. 29 bottles sauce, pickles, etc. Presentation to Miss McTavish. At the Swimming Baths last night. Mr. C. W. Skill (Mayor) presented Miss Jean McTavish. who is leaving Martinborough. with a crystal preserve jar and silver monogrammed spoon in recognition of her services as secretary of the club. In handing Miss McTavish the gift. Mr. Skill conveyed the good wishes and thanks of members. Miss McTavish suitably replied.
