RELIEF OF CONGESTION FROM MASTERTON. EXTRA FACILITIES PROMISED. Mr. E. Casey, general manager of the New Zealand Railways has communicacated with Mr. J. Robertson, M.P., concerning representations made by Mr. Robertson to the Railways Department with a view to providing better railcar facilities from the Wairarapa on Sunday nights. Mr. Casey states that as Trentham camp was almost empty at the present time, it was considered that an addition to the service was not warranted at the moment, but as soon as the camp was up to strength again it was the Department's intention to put on an extra railear from Masterton on Sunday evening.
